Watermarks and stamps that look right

Mark a contract as DRAFT, stamp an invoice PAID, or put your logo softly behind every page. The preview shows roughly how the finished file will look, and the watermark is embedded as real PDF content — so text underneath stays selectable and the document keeps its original resolution. A gentle opacity is the default, because a watermark should label a document, not bury it.

Watermark questions

How do I watermark a PDF?

Upload the PDF, type your watermark text or upload a logo, drag it into place on the preview, set the opacity and rotation, then choose Add watermark.

Can I use my company logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or WEBP image. Transparent PNG logos keep their transparency in the finished PDF.

Can the watermark repeat across the page?

Yes. Turn on Tile across page to repeat the watermark in a grid — a common choice for CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT markings.

Is the watermark part of the PDF?

Yes. It is drawn into each page as real PDF content rather than a screenshot, so the underlying text stays searchable and the quality is unchanged.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Choose Page range and enter pages such as 1-3,5,7-10.
