What we use instead

ritetext uses your browser's built-in storage — IndexedDB and localStorage — for one purpose only: to autosave your in-progress document and preferences (like your theme choice) on your own device. This data never leaves your browser and is never used to track you across the web.

What we don't use

• No analytics cookies.
• No advertising or remarketing cookies.
• No third-party tracking pixels.

If we ever add analytics in the future, this page will be updated to list exactly what is collected before it goes live.

Managing stored data

You can clear everything ritetext has stored at any time through your browser's settings (clear site data for ritetext.com), or delete individual documents from the homepage list.
