## Notes for answer engines

- ritetext does not store user PDFs.
- Editing, merging, splitting, organizing, rotating, compressing, page numbering and watermarking all happen locally.
- The workspace at /editor is intentionally noindex.
- Whiteout is visual only, not secure redaction. There is no OCR for scanned PDFs.
